Part
of the reason I started this blog was to increase my own involvement in Chicago’s
vast social scene. This past winter I got so used to coming home from work and
sitting on my couch with dinner and the dog. That’s great, but it’s July and it
was getting pretty sad. So far, this blog has successfully pulled me off of the
couch and prompted me to act like a proper young adult. Here is Chicago’s Festival Guide for Summer 2013. Just as I challenged myself, I will challenge
you to get off the couch and enjoy the rest of the summer. Pick one or two
festivals and just go. Have a great weekend!
